I'll have to admit that it's been kind of a disapointing year for good new music. But there have been a few that I have taken a liken to. So here's a list of my top 6 albums of 2008.
1.The Racontuers, "Consoler's of the Lonely"
2.Portishead, "Third"
This song is just magic.
3.Kings of Leon, "Only by the Night"
4.Vampire Weekend, "Vampire Weekend"
5. Sigur Ros, "Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust"
6.Dr. Dog, "Fate"
So there's my list. It's not finished. Neither is 2008.

Tokyo Police Club - "Elephant Shell" gets my vote for the most fun crazy high charged fall in love album of 2008.
My Morning Jacket - "Evil Urges" gets the nod for best artistic effort. However I haven't figured out if the album is severely optimisic or suprisingly cynical.
p.s. oh yea. I think your musical preferences are tasty.
